Registered Manager – Solo Children’s Home, Rotherham.
Join us as the leader of a 1‑bed solo children’s home in a therapeutic environment. You will be responsible for safeguarding, operational management and achieving positive outcomes for young people.
Key Responsibilities
* Overall leadership and day‑to‑day management of the home.
* Drafting and reviewing placement plans, care plans and risk assessments.
* Leading, supervising and developing a trauma‑informed staff team.
* Managing staff rotas to ensure safe staffing levels.
* Safeguarding oversight, incident management and statutory notifications.
* Budget management and financial accountability.
* Preparation for and leading Ofsted inspections.
* Multi‑agency liaison with social workers and external professionals.
* Participation in the on‑call rota.
What We’re Looking For
* Previous Registered Manager experience in children’s residential care.
* Level 5 Diploma in Leadership & Management for Residential Childcare (or enrolled).
* Level 3 Diploma in Residential Childcare (or equivalent).
* Strong knowledge of safeguarding and Children’s Homes Regulations.
* Experience managing complex placements.
* Calm, resilient and structured leadership approach.

* £50,000 – £60,000 basic salary (DOE).
