This is a brilliant opportunity for a private client solicitor who is looking for a retrain opportunity to Court of Protection, to join an expanding department that’s going from strength to strength.
Have access to new cases and be fully supported and trained by an experienced Head of Department who has built the team from the ground up.
You’ll need to be proactive, empathetic and curious, with a real appetite to learn and develop under expert guidance.
Who we’re looking for
4. Private Client Solicitor looking to retrain into Court of Protection
5. A genuine interest in Court of Protection work and supporting vulnerable clients
6. Ideally has experience managing or assisting on Property & Affairs Deputyships
7. Strong organisation and communication skills
8. A full UK driving licence and access to a car
What you’ll be doing
9. Managing Property and Affairs Deputyships
10. Assisting vulnerable and brain-injured clients and their families
11. Supporting with Trust administration, Statutory Wills, Personal Injury Trusts, and other Curt of Protection applications
12. Liaising with clients in their homes, hospitals, and care settings
13. Forecasting spending, managing budgets, and maintaining accurate financial records
14. Supporting more junior team members as your experience grows
15. Getting involved in internal projects and continuous improvement initiatives
You’ll be set up to succeed with full support, training, and a manageable caseload, allowing you to build confidence and turn cases around efficiently.
