Role Overview
We’re proud of our reputation for delivering best-in-class imaging, high reliability, and user-friendly solutions. Now, we’re looking for a Test Engineer to join our team in Redhill and play a key role in ensuring the quality and security of our RTT products.
Responsibilities
As a Test Engineer, you’ll be responsible for testing software and systems—including X-ray scanners and Matrix IT networks—under the guidance of the System Test Manager. Your work will directly contribute to the safety and effectiveness of our products.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Perform system verification and validation testing
2. Develop test procedures and test cases
3. Conduct functional, performance, regression, and cyber security patch testing
4. Identify, report, and track software defects
5. Install and validate cyber security patches on test servers and workstations
6. Verify software builds and configurations
7. Provide timely test results and feedback to design and development teams
8. Support continuous improvement of testing processes
9. Assist in planning test programs for RTT products
Qualifications
10. Hands-on experience with system, hardware, and software testing
11. Familiarity with Windows and Linux operating systems
12. Understanding of the full system engineering lifecycle
13. Knowledge of cyber security processes and patch testing
14. Experience with tools like Helix ALM, Jira, or similar
15. A methodical and detail-oriented approach to problem-solving
16. Degree or HND in Engineering (or equivalent experience)

17. Experience with security systems and baggage screening technologies
