TPS is part of the Volkswagen Group, which includes Audi, SEAT, ŠKODA, Volkswagen passenger cars, and Commercial Vehicles. Overview
Launched nationally in 2006 as a new brand concept, TPS is based on an Agency Model, meaning Centres stock and sell on behalf of Volkswagen Group UK. The brand has experienced rapid growth both financially and in the number of Centres nationwide.
Role and Responsibilities
1. Work with the Sales Manager and team to deliver and achieve the business plan and sales objectives.
2. Achieve personal KPIs and revenue targets with target customers.
3. Identify parts to meet customer requirements accurately.
4. Utilize product promotions effectively to meet specific targets.
5. Identify and leverage sales opportunities within the customer base.
6. Maintain product knowledge and stay aware of competitor activity.
7. Build strong relationships with customers through regular contact via phone and face-to-face visits.
8. Provide high-quality customer service by understanding needs, responding to requests, progressing orders, and offering expert advice.
9. Communicate promptly with customers regarding credit status.
10. Support the TPS Centre team to ensure good relationships and excellent customer service.
11. Collaborate with the Sales Manager and team to achieve sales targets.
12. Handle incoming calls and customer inquiries within KPIs, using approved greetings.
13. Use systems accurately to search and order parts.
14. Complete documentation accurately and promptly.
15. Manage cash and credit card transactions in line with TPS guidelines.
Candidate Requirements
1. Proven track record in building relationships and achieving sales targets in a B2B environment.
2. Confident communicator with experience in fast-paced or telesales environments.
3. Passion for delivering excellent customer service.
4. Strong verbal and written communication skills.
5. Team player with motivation to meet individual and team sales targets weekly and monthly.
6. Attention to detail and accurate record-keeping.
7. IT literate, preferably with knowledge of MS Excel.
8. Enthusiasm for the automotive industry.
