We’re looking for a passionate and skilled Specialist Family and Systemic Psychotherapist to join our CAMHS Intellectual Disabilities Team. In this vital role, you’ll support children and young people with intellectual disabilities and work closely with their families to improve communication, strengthen relationships, and help them move forward together.
Bring systemic thinking to our multidisciplinary team, offer specialist therapy, and provide consultation and formulation to colleagues working with complex family situations.

Responsibilities
* Provide highly specialist systemic and family therapy to children and young people with intellectual disabilities and their families.
* Deliver comprehensive systemic assessments, formulations and evidence‑based interventions for complex mental health presentations.
* Offer consultation, advice and clinical supervision to MDT colleagues and wider agencies.
* Participate in multidisciplinary meetings, safeguarding discussions and multi‑agency planning, contributing expert systemic input.
* Contribute to service development, audit and research, supporting continuous improvement within CAMHS ID.
* Manage a specialist clinical caseload, including risk assessment, care planning and outcome monitoring.
