gap construction is proud to represent a leading Tier 1 joinery and interior fit-out specialist in their search for a Contracts Manager to oversee 3 to 4 prestigious fit-out projects simultaneously across London. Project values range from £3 million up to £20 million, offering a fantastic opportunity to manage high-profile interior developments within a quality-driven and highly respected team.
Key Responsibilities
Manage the delivery of 3 to 4 interior fit-out and joinery projects concurrently, ensuring all contractual obligations are met.
Oversee project budgets, cost forecasting, procurement, and subcontractor management to control costs and maximise profitability.
Collaborate closely with Site Teams to monitor progress, resolve commercial issues, and maintain project cash flow.
Prepare and present regular reports on financial status, risks, and opportunities to senior management and clients.
Implement and maintain robust processes for cost control, invoicing, and procurement.
Foster strong relationships with clients, suppliers, and subcontractors to support smooth project delivery.
Ensure compliance with health, safety, and quality standards through effective contract management.
Person Specification
Proven experience as a Contracts Manager or Project Manager within joinery, fit-out, or interior construction, ideally managing multiple projects in London.
Background in joinery or bespoke interiors is advantageous but not essential.
Exceptional organisational, leadership, and communication skills, capable of managing diverse teams and stakeholders.
Proactive problem solver with a keen eye for detail and the ability to manage competing priorities.
Ability to work collaboratively with senior management and project teams to deliver key business objectives.
