Duties & Responsibilities:
VIAVI is seeking a Sales Operations Analyst to join our Business Operations team. You will be performing budgeting, planning, & analysis activities and working with internal and external stakeholders to support the smooth-running of sales operations.
Main Responsibilities include:
* Primary responsibility is to drive purchase orders and push new VIAVI revenue
* Provide daily, timely quotes for customer and sales requests for Viavi products
* Working closely with order management to ensure orders are booked with proper approved quotes in line with company policies
* Provide quoting assistance to VIAVI channel partners and direct sales
* Working closely with our sales teams to provide end-to-end support with pricing and creating quotes. Provide pre-sales and/or post-sales support
* Provide MSD and QuoteEdge training/support to sales
* Assist sales team with configurations, part numbers, use of system and provide assistance with quoting queries
* Providing quotes information out of QuoteEdge
* Stay up to date with NSE product software releases, product notifications, part number changes, model discontinuation, product launches, etc.
* Facilitate customer credit card transactions via PayNow
* Responding to customer and field inquiries related to quotes, orders, product information in a timely manner. Understanding customer needs and requirements to help position the right solution product and routing qualified opportunities to sales team for further development
* Upselling products and services to customers
* Responsibility for managing and monitoring group email mailbox for internal and external queries
Pre-Requisites / Skills / Experience Requirements:

* Experience in a commercial sales support environment (telecoms desirable but not essential)
* Experience working with cross-functional teams
* Strong analytical skills to present complex data clearly
* Ability to work effectively under pressure and manage multiple priorities/deadlines

* Strong written and verbal communication skills
* Strong attention to detail and willingness to learn
