Rate of Pay: £42.00 - £55.44 per hour Summary: An opportunity for an experienced Environmental Health Officer to support a Pollution / Environmental Protection team. This role focuses on technical, strategic, and project-based work, including noise planning consultations, air quality initiatives, and environmental improvement projects. Responsibilities: Lead on noise-related planning consultations and provide technical advice Assess development proposals and support Planning teams Manage Section 61 applications under the Control of Pollution Act Support air quality action plans and public consultation processes Contribute to environmental improvement and sustainability projects Qualifications: Degree or qualification in Environmental Health or related field Essential Requirements: Qualified Environmental Health Officer or strong pollution background Experience in noise planning consultations and Section 61 processes Knowledge of air quality management and environmental regulations Ability to work independently and deliver technical advice Please note: You should be available to work immediately or at a short notice.
