The Rivers CofE Academy Trust is a highly successful and vibrant community of sixteen schools (across Sandwell, Dudley and Worcestershire) with a thriving teaching alliance. Established in 2014, we are the largest primary and early years specialist MAT in Worcestershire and the wider region. The successful candidate will work closely with the Headteacher and undertake a significant role in providing high-quality professional leadership, formulating and developing the School Development Plan priorities, securing success and driving continuous improvement. The post will ensure the highest possible standards of education through the promotion of effective teaching and learning, a balanced curriculum, the provision of excellent pastoral care and support for pupils and a rich extra-curricular programme which reflects the school’s development priorities.
The post holder will work with the Headteacher in the exercise of strategic, curriculum led financial planning to ensure the equitable deployment of budgets and resources, in the best interests of pupils’ achievement and the school’s sustainability.

Someone who will wholeheartedly embrace the vision, values and ethos of our trust and inspire and empower others to do the same. This will require individuals with exceptional interpersonal and communication skills who can collaborate and take others with them in the next stage of the school’s development.
