VEHICLE MECHANIC (FIELD BASED) / VEHICLE TECHNICIAN - CARS AND LIGHT COMMERCIAL VEHICLES - FALKIRK AND SURROUNDING AREAS (CENTRAL BELT) - UP TO £35,000 BASIC SALARY + £40,000 OTE + VAN & BENEFITS
Field based Motor Vehicle Mechanic / Vehicle Technician sought for a motor vehicle maintenance company serving marketing leading clients. The role covers Falkirk and the surrounding areas (Central Belt).
Responsibilities
* Field based servicing, brake work and small running repairs on cars and light commercial vehicles at client branches, on site and at customer home locations.
* Carry out basic mechanical work in the field, e.g., routine servicing, brake pads & disc replacement.
* Cover Falkirk and the surrounding areas - Central Belt.
Working Hours
8:00 to 17:00, Monday to Friday, and alternate Saturday mornings (8:00 – 12:30).
The Person
* Successful candidates will have similar experience (e.g., Motor Mechanic, Vehicle Technician).
* Experience of mobile/field-based mechanics is desirable but not essential.
* A mechanic in the “fast fit” industry would also be suitable.
* Experience using a diagnostics machine.
* Full UK driving licence with a maximum of 6 points.
* Customer facing role; well presented with a good customer service attitude.
* Ideally based in or around Falkirk and the surrounding areas.

* Up to £35,000 basic salary (subject to experience)
