About the Role
As a Duty Desk Worker, you will be the welcoming face and voice of our organisation. You’ll play a vital role in ensuring smooth communication, maintaining confidentiality and supporting both visitors and staff. This is a varied and rewarding role that includes:
* Greeting and directing visitors
* Handling incoming calls and resolving queries
* Managing updates to our electronic rostering system
* Overseeing office cleanliness and health & safety checks
* Supporting general office administration
* Ensuring compliance with GDPR, confidentiality, and safeguarding procedures

Essential Skills
Essential:
* GCSEs or equivalent
* Excellent verbal and written communication skills
* Knowledge of GDPR and confidentiality principles
* Strong organisational skills and ability to manage competing priorities
* Empathy, professionalism, and a calm approach under pressure
Desirable:
* Experience working with vulnerable adults with mental health conditions
* Familiarity with electronic rostering systems
* Background in a health-focused or dynamic office environment
