Duties of the Mobile Vehicle Technician
* Conduct on‑site fleet repairs, maintenance, and DPF cleaning to high standards
* Perform inspections, diagnostics, and servicing on a variety of vehicle makes and models
* Use hand and power tools effectively during repairs and mechanical installations
* Maintain accurate service records and report on work completed
* Support team colleagues by sharing technical knowledge and expertise
* Adhere strictly to health and safety regulations
* Assist in mentoring junior technicians where applicable
Requirements
* Minimum of 5 years’ experience in vehicle diagnostics and repairs within the motor trade
* Proven expertise in fleet maintenance and DPF cleaning processes
* Strong mechanical skills with the ability to work independently
* High attention to detail and excellent problem‑solving capabilities
* Reliable, trustworthy, and personable attitude
* Full UK driving licence, with no more than 3 penalty points
* Ability to work efficiently in a mobile, on‑site environment
