Future Opportunity: Pathway to Directorship We are a successful, family-run construction business with a turnover of £25 million, operating across the South East. Due to continued growth, we are seeking an experienced Plant Hire Manager to join our team based at our Biggin Hill yard. This is a pivotal role with significant responsibility, offering the right candidate a long-term future within the company, including the potential to progress to a Director-level position. Key Responsibilities: * Oversee and manage all aspects of our internal plant fleet * Supervise and coordinate the internal plant fitting and delivery team * Work with the accounts team to ensure timely and accurate invoicing * Manage daily plant deliveries and collections * Oversee PPE procurement, usage, and stock control. * Maintain and manage plant and equipment inventory * Handle plant purchasing as and when required * Be hands-on with plant operations when needed * Opportunity to up sell the business and bring in customers where possible. (External Plant Hire).
