Job Description
Conduct stock condition surveys as a Stock Condition Surveyor across London or Manchester, covering dwellings, communal areas, garages, and other housing assets.
Record and analyse survey data on PDA/tablet to update the organisation’s asset register and support compliance with Decent Homes, HHSRS, and the Homes (Fitness for Human Habitation) Act 2018.
Collaborate with Asset Strategy teams to provide technical advice, support asset management projects, and update stock condition information for investment planning.
Liaise with Stock Condition Administrators to schedule and complete appointments, reporting identified hazards and compliance issues within regulatory timescales.
Work closely with colleagues to identify solutions for property and customer needs while ensuring accurate data capture and reporting.
Skills / Qualifications
HND/HNC in construction or a similar qualification required for Stock Condition Surveyor roles in London or Manchester.
Proven experience conducting stock condition surveys and developing asset investment programmes.
Strong knowledge of Decent Homes, HHSRS, Homes (Fitness for Human Habitation) Act, Gas Safety, Legionella, and IEE regulations.
Excellent data handling, analysis, and reporting skills to support informed investment decisions.
Ability to identify property and customer needs, develop practical solutions, and work effectively in a team environment.
