Job Description:
At Bath & North East Somerset Council we have one overriding purpose to improve people’s lives.
Part time Administrative Assistant / Personal Advisor required for four hours per week to support a member of the Children’s Social Care Senior Management Team with admin tasks. This would suit a part time member of staff looking to slightly increase their hours.
Key responsibilities will include:
* Diary management and arranging meetings
* Supporting with data reporting
* Helping with policy research and updates
* Organise and minute meetings, ensuring key actions are followed up
* Liaise with internal teams, external agencies, and stakeholders
* Assist with project coordination and implementation of service improvements
* Handle confidential correspondence, reports, and presentations
About You:
We are looking for a highly motivated and detail-oriented individual who can work both independently and as part of a team. You should have:
* Previous experience in administration or PA roles, ideally within social care or a similar environment
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to engage with professionals at all levels
* Strong organizational abilities with the flexibility to manage changing priorities
* Discretion and professionalism, handling sensitive information with confidentiality
* Proficiency in IT systems, including Microsoft Office and case management software
