Finance Assistant | £28,000 - £35,000 | Hybrid (3 Days Onsite – Wymondham) | Automotive Technology
We are looking for an experienced Finance Assistant with great bookkeeping skills to join an exciting advanced engineering business in Norfolk.
This is a great opportunity to join a business working on some of the most advanced automotive technology in the industry—used by some of the biggest names in the world.
You’ll be joining a collaborative and supportive finance team based near Wymondham, playing a key role in maintaining accurate financial records and supporting the wider business as it continues to grow.
If you're AAT Level 3 qualified and looking for a varied, hands-on finance role in a technically fascinating sector, this could be a great next step.
What You’ll Be Doing:
Maintaining and reconciling sales and purchase ledgers
Preparing and submitting VAT returns
Posting journals and supporting month-end close
Performing bank and credit card reconciliations
Assisting the wider team with ad-hoc finance and admin tasksWhat We’re Looking For:
Previous experience in a finance or bookkeeping role
Strong grasp of accounting/bookkeeping principles
Confident using accounting software
AAT Level 3/4, ICB or IAB qualified (or equivalent)
High attention to detail, well organised, and proactive
Clear communication skills and a team mindsetBonus Points For:
Experience with IFS
Familiarity with management accounts and journal posting
Strong Excel skills (e.g. VLOOKUPs, pivot tables)What’s on Offer:
