Overview
We are seeking a talented and motivated Software Engineer to join our dynamic team. Duties
* Develop, test, and maintain high-quality software applications using languages such as JavaScript, Java, C#, Python, Ruby on Rails, and C++.
* Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and implement new features and enhancements.
* Participate in code reviews to ensure code quality and adherence to best practices.
* Utilise version control systems such as Git and SVN for source code management.
* Design and implement RESTful APIs for seamless integration with front-end applications.
* Work with databases including MySQL and SQL for data storage and retrieval.
* Engage in front-end development tasks to create responsive user interfaces.
* Troubleshoot and resolve software defects in a timely manner.
* Stay updated with emerging technologies and industry trends to continuously improve skills and knowledge.
Skills
* Proficiency in programming languages: JavaScript, Java, C#, Python, Ruby on Rails, C++, and C.
* Experience with software development methodologies and application development processes.
* Familiarity with cloud services such as AWS and Azure.
* Knowledge of database management systems including MySQL and SQL.
* Understanding of version control systems like GitHub and SVN.
* Experience working in Linux environments is advantageous.
* Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot complex issues effectively.
