Position: SEMH TA
Location: Manchester (M5)
Pay: £105-£115, depending on experience
Start Date: 05/01/2026
Prospero Teaching are currently seeking experienced SEMH Teaching Assistants to join a large provision in Salford (M5). The school supports pupils aged key stage 2 with Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH) needs. You will be supporting pupils 1:1 and in small groups, delivering interventions and encouraging engagement.
The Role:
Supporting pupils 1:1 and in small groups delivering interventions
Building rapport, contributing towards an inclusive learning environment
Maintaining regular communication with other staff and external agencies to monitor progressExperience, Training & Qualifications:
Up to date Safeguarding training within the last year (desired but training can be provided)
Team Teach Level 2 is highly desired but training can be provided)
Previous experience supporting young peopleTO BE ELIGIBLE FOR THIS ROLE THROUGH PROSPERO TEACHING, YOU MUST:
Hold Right to Work in the UK
Hold an enhanced child barred list DBS certificate registered with the online update service or be willing to process a new application
Provide two professional child related references that cover at least the last two yearsOTHER
