Weekend Club Manager – Our Special Angels
Location: Walsall Centre, 18 Lichfield St, WS1 1TJ
Hours: Saturdays & Sundays, 9am–6pm (split shifts available)
Pay: £20 per hour
Are you passionate about making a difference for children with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND)?
Our Special Angels (OSA) is an Ofsted-registered organisation providing specialist clubs and care for children with SEND. We are seeking two experienced Weekend Club Managers to lead our brand-new weekend provision at our Walsall Centre, which includes soft play and sensory rooms.
This is a fantastic opportunity to play a key role in building a safe, fun, and supportive space where children can thrive, and families can get much-needed respite.
About the Role
* Manage and oversee weekend sessions (9am–1pm & 2pm–6pm).
* Lead and support a team of dedicated playworkers and personal care staff.
* Ensure sessions run smoothly, safely, and in line with OSA's policies and Ofsted standards.
* Liaise with parents and carers to provide excellent communication and build trusting relationships.
* Manage safeguarding concerns, behaviour, and incident reporting.
* Oversee activity planning to ensure sessions are engaging and inclusive for all children.
* Complete necessary paperwork such as registers, risk assessments, and daily logs.
We are looking for two managers so the shifts can be split:
* Option 1: Work 4-hour shifts each day (morning or afternoon).
* Option 2: Work one full day each weekend.
About You
* Experience working with children or young people with SEND is essential.
* Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage a team.
* Excellent communication and organisational skills.
* Knowledge of safeguarding and child protection procedures (training provided).
* First Aid and DBS check required (or willingness to obtain).
* Passionate about making a positive difference to families and the community.
