1. The candidate will work under the discretion of the Imaging Informatics Manager and Senior PACS Systems Specialist. The nature of the role and responsibilities will be fluid and the below is a guide only. Some of the roles described may become the sole or main responsibility of the candidate, others may change from time to time.
2. The candidate will ideally have a core knowledge of Imaging informatics, including principles around PACS / RIS systems. 3. The candidate will support their other colleagues in the day to day running of the IT platform.
3. The candidate will support the training of new radiologists by managing and maintaining training environments in our IT platform. 5. The candidate will support or take on the role of the monthly PACS rota.
4. The candidate will be responsible for the creation and management of new user accounts. 7. The candidate will manage non-lung screening thoracic and cardiac workflows including tracking of allocation and reports.
5. The candidate must have the ability to truly multitask across a range of processes and tasks every day, with the ability to re-prioritise work as requested or needed. 9. The candidate must be highly organised, can track, work through and come back to different threads and workstreams.
6. A candidates knowledge of Cimar UK Ltd and / or HaloITSM would be desirable but not essential. 11. The candidate would be comfortable working from home across a range of accounts with good communication skills, interacting with a range of personnel internally, across NHS and private hospitals.
7. The job will require a rolling rota of weekend work. 13. The company will provide appropriate training and equipment.
