The Role At a Glance
* Location: Cirencester – hybrid working, 3 days per week in office
* Salary: £30,000 – £35,000

Responsibilities
As an Internal Sales Executive you will:
* Proactively build and strengthen high‑value customer relationships to deliver budgeted sales volume and value.
* Secure and retain preferred supplier status across all target accounts.
* Resolve customer issues swiftly, escalating when necessary, and maintain accurate sales administration.
* Drive clearance of overstock, obsolete and quarantine stock to a zero old‑stock target.
* Provide timely, actionable sales insights to the Area Sales Manager to support budgeted performance.
Accountabilities
* Build and sustain strong, profitable customer relationships through frequent engagement.
* Monitor and analyse daily sales data to identify trends and address underperforming accounts.
* Promote full product range to maximise order value.
* Apply effective pricing and negotiation strategies with a focus on profitability.
* Resolve customer complaints promptly and professionally.
* Communicate with the Internal Sales Manager and provide general administrative support as required.
Skills & Experience
* Proven telesales experience with a strong track record of delivering first‑class customer service.
* Confident negotiator with a passion for building and maintaining customer relationships over the phone.
* Highly self‑motivated, target‑driven and determined to exceed performance goals.
* Strong administration skills with excellent attention to detail.
* Comfortable analysing figures and data, ideally in a technical environment.
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, Word).
* Excellent organisational and time‑management skills, with the ability to prioritise effectively.
* Reliable team player who actively supports colleagues and contributes to team success.
* Calm under pressure and meets tight deadlines.
