Shop Manager - Ferndown at Shaw Trust.

The Shop Manager is responsible for leading the day-to-day operations of the Ferndown retail shop, driving sales and profitability through effective stock management, community engagement, and team leadership. The role ensures high standards of customer service and shop presentation, maintains compliance with administrative, financial, and security procedures, and upholds health and safety regulations. The Shop Manager recruits, trains, and manages both paid staff and volunteers, fostering a motivated and well-informed team that supports Shaw Trust’s mission and values.

Responsibilities
* Lead the day-to-day operations of the Ferndown retail shop, driving sales and profitability.
* Manage stock effectively, including stock control, replenishment, and presentation.
* Engage with the local community to support Shaw Trust’s mission and values.
* Provide team leadership and supervision for paid staff and volunteers; recruit, train, and develop the team.
* Ensure high standards of customer service and shop presentation.
* Maintain compliance with administrative, financial, and security procedures.
* Uphold health and safety regulations within the shop environment.
