We are currently seeking an experienced PDI Technician to join our client’s reputable dealership in Exeter. Monday to Friday working scheduleDuties of a PDI Technician:
Conduct pre-delivery inspections (PDI) on a wide range of vehicles to ensure compliance with quality standards
Service and repair vehicles with accuracy and attention to detail
Liaise with the sales team to prepare vehicles for customer handover
Diagnose mechanical and electrical faults using manufacturer-standard tools and software
Maintain accurate records of work carried out and parts used
Uphold health and safety standards at all times and ensure workshop organisation
Ensure consistent quality and efficiency in all tasks undertakenRequirements of a PDI Technician:
Proven experience as a PDI Technician or similar role within the automotive sector
Comprehensive knowledge of vehicle systems, diagnostics, and repair techniques
Full UK driving licence is essential
Ability to work efficiently under pressure and deliver high standards of workmanship
Strong communication skills with a customer-focused approach
