Complex Care Worker
Salary: £13/hour
Location: Swinton, Greater Manchester
Work hours: Full time, Part Time
Hours of work are flexible however the package requires:
Week 1: Wednesday 10am-7pm, Thursday 8am-7pm, Friday 8am -7pm & Saturday 10am - 7pm.
Week 2: Tuesday, 10am-7pm, Wednesday 8am-7pm, Thursday 8am-7pm, Friday 8am-2pm
Are you a compassionate and dedicated Complex Care and Support Worker with at least 6-months UK healthcare experience? If so, we have an exciting opportunity for you to join our team in the Swinton Area!
About the role
We are recruiting on behalf of Yorkshire Community Healthcare who are looking for experienced Complex Care and Support Workers with a compassionate and caring nature, to provide support to a lady in her 20s, ideally with experience in working in the field of Acquired Brain Injuries however full training and support will be provided to the right person.
* You will accompany the client to medical appointments and to assist with school runs each day
* Providing assistance with budgeting and managing the clients finances
* Create a positive and engaging environment through companionship and social interactions
* Build a strong and trusting relationship with the client supporting her to achieve her goals
Requirements:
* Right to work in the UK
* At least 6-months UK based healthcare experience - ideally working in the field of ABI supporting deficits with executive functioning difficulties
* Calm, Sensitive and Empathetic nature with excellent communication skills
* Childcare experience
* Good recording skills
* Good observation skills
* Good IT skills
* Must hold a valid UK driving licence and happy to drive the client's vehicle
* Safeguarding training
* Ability to complete the physical aspects of the role such as moving and handling.
