A leading food manufacturing business with multiple sites across the UK is looking for a Regional Supply Planning Lead to manage the supply plan across multiple sites to ensure successful execution and balancing of service, inventory, and cost. The role will be 75% home based with the need to travel to sites across the UK.
Responsibilities
* Manage supply planning for multiple sites within the region, balancing inventory levels and service targets.
* Collaborate with production, procurement, and logistics teams to optimise stock availability.
* Monitor demand forecasts and adjust supply plans to meet changing market needs.
* Identify risks in the supply chain and implement proactive solutions.
* Drive continuous improvement in planning processes and systems.
* Lead regional S&OP pillars and provide escalations to executive S&OP, supporting the introduction of IBP.
* Lead portfolio review and work with finance to identify SKUs that are not profitable.
Qualifications
* Deep and detailed supply planning knowledge, ideally with multi‑site experience.
* Previous experience working within food manufacturing or FMCG highly beneficial.
* Strong analytical skills and proficiency in planning tools (SAP or similar).
* Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.
* Ability to thrive in a fast‑paced environment and make data‑driven decisions.
