The Position Job Title: Information Security Apprentice Apprenticeship Course: Level 4 Cyber Technologist Apprenticeship Duration: 15 months Assessment Location: Egham Working Hours: Monday to Friday 9am – 5pm Salary: £20,000 Role and Responsibilities: • Maintaining consistent standards and alignment to ISO27001 (Information Security) and ISO42001 (AI) • Ensuring compliance and where necessary develop and enhancing policies, processes and controls maintaining accreditation. • Ensure policies align with data protection, security, and confidentiality requirements. • Main point of contact for internal and external resource (to include clients) supporting technical queries to include hardware and software whilst partnering with Key IT Support Supplier (Qlic). • Responsible for the oversight, reporting, and management of highlighted internal and external vulnerabilities through to resolution by liaising with IT Support (Qlic) and Cyber insurers. • Review security reporting provided by our password management software, maintaining oversight of policy setting, password strength, MFA implementation, and SaaS usage. • Supporting the Commercial Business Unit in understanding the threats and opportunities within Information Security. • Attending and partaking the quarterly Risk Register meeting. • External Consultant Onboarding – Laptop Set Up. • External Consultant Offboarding – Asset Management • Asset and Access Management • Support Internal Projects - Supplier onboarding – Cyber, IT and AI risk Assessments.
