Let us tell a bit about the opportunity The Decision Systems team sits at the heart of our Motor Finance division, translating business requirements into automated decisioning solutions that power thousands of credit decisions daily. We implement credit policies, pricing rules, and fraud detection in sophisticated decision engines, enabling instant customer decisions while maintaining rigorous risk management. This work directly impacts the business by accelerating application processing, ensuring consistent policy application, and enabling rapid deployment of strategy changes. As a Decisions Systems Analyst, you will work across the full spectrum of decision system implementation, including business rules development, workflow orchestration, and automated testing. Being responsible for implementing new functionality into the decision-making process using the development tools available within our technology stack. What will your day look like? Using technologies like FICO Decision Modeller / Power Curve / OutSystems (Low Coding Tool), SAS and Excel/VBA, you will build and maintain the end-to-end decision processes that connect customer applications with credit bureaus, internal data, and downstream systems. Implement decision tables and rule structures that support our lending decisions Ensure rule implementations accurately reflect credit policies and business requirements Implement workflow processes to support decision delivery Develop / code integrations with internal systems and external services (like credit bureaus) Develop data capture interfaces (UI) and decision presentation components Develop and maintain automated testing processes and create test cases that verify the correct functioning of our systems What do we expect from you? Background in software development lifecycle IT related education or technical background Adaptability and aptitude for learning new technologies and processes Attention to detail and commitment to quality Interest in creating technical solutions to business challenges Experience using Excel for data analysis or macros Previous exposure to programming, scripting, or system configuration Knowledge of credit risk assessment processes would be highly advantageous As would any experience of credit decisioning systems (PowerCurve/SAS/OutSystems/Experian) What can you expect from us?
