The role
A global payments and financial technology organisation is bringing newclients onto its platform and needs an experienced programme manager to ownthose onboarding and migration programmes end to end. You'll be the singlepoint of accountability for delivery — running the plan, the team and the clientrelationship — from initiation through go-live and into service transition.
What you'll do
* Ownend-to-end delivery of large client onboarding and implementationprogrammes, covering both greenfield builds and migration of existingcustomer portfolios onto the platform
* Managesenior client stakeholders directly — setting and holding expectations onscope, plan, deliverables and timelines
* Leada matrix team of project managers and workstream leads across development,testing, security, training, operations and business solutions
* Establishand run programme governance; manage risks, issues, dependencies andchange; control cost, time and quality
* Workclosely with the PMO to keep delivery aligned to methodology andgovernance standards
Requirements
What you'll need (essential)
* Atrack record running large, complex, client-facing technology programmes
* Strongsenior stakeholder management — comfortable owning the client relationshipat programme level
* Experienceleading multi-workstream / matrix delivery
* Ableand willing to be on-site in Basildon five days a week
* UKright to work
Nice to have (not essential)
* Backgroundin payments, merchant acquiring, card processing or fintech platformdelivery
* Specificexperience with client onboarding or platform migration programmes
* Arecognised delivery qualification (e.g. MSP, PRINCE2, PMP)
Note: this is a strong generalist programme management rolefirst — domain payments experience is a bonus, not a gate.
