We are now seeking a highly capable and organised General and Administration Manager to join our team and take responsibility for the smooth running of our day-to-day business operations.
Role Overview
This is a central position within the company, responsible for ensuring the effective coordination of daily activities across departments, supporting compliance and reporting, and maintaining a safe, secure, and productive working environment. The role requires strong organisational and leadership skills, as well as the ability to work closely with senior management, operational teams, and external contractors.
Key Responsibilities
* Act as a keyholder, ensuring the security and smooth operation of the premises
* Oversee daily business operations, ensuring seamless workflow across departments
* Serve as the first point of contact for support and queries, directing requests to relevant areas of the business
* Manage contractors and third-party service providers visiting the site.
* Monitor and analyse key performance indicators (KPIs), driving improvements in efficiency and quality
* Maintain and develop internal systems, policies, and procedures to support efficient administration and communication
* Produce weekly reports for senior management detailing key business metrics and operational updates
* Support the leadership team in implementing strategic plans and operational improvements
* Maintain company documentation, customer records.
* Coordinate and manage resources and procurement.

We are looking for a hands-on, detail-oriented individual who thrives in a fast-paced, operational environment. You will be capable of juggling multiple priorities while maintaining a high level of organisation and professionalism.
Essential Requirements
* Previous experience in a senior administration or general managerial role
* Strong organisational and leadership skills, with the ability to manage people and processes effectively
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office and business systems
* Knowledge of health & safety, and business compliance
* Experience within the manufacturing industry is highly advantageous
