Carer / Personal Assistant Based in Havant, Hampshire Salary: £12.00 per hour Our Clien t is a professional, hard- working woman with a physical disability who is now looking to recruit an enthusiastic and dedicated Female Personal Assistant to join her team. This is to enable her to live an independent life. As a Personal Assistant/Carer you will provide all aspects of care as directed by the client, within her own home, which she shares with her dog. Duties will include, but are not limited to: Assisting with personal care so this role is only open to Female applicants Supporting with preparation of meals Support with light cleaning Assisting our client to attend appointments/ go shopping Assisting with pushing a manual wheelchair on dog walks Able to commit to flexible rostering to cover annual leave or short-term absence of other team members Qualities required: Empathetic and caring companion Be eligible to work in the United Kingdom Excellent communication skills must have fluent written and spoken English Able to learn & to meet clients specific needs Reliable with good time keeping skills Self-motivated and able to work under own initiative Hygienic and well presented Non-Smoker Hours Monday am 07:00-08:00 pm 17:30-19:00 Tuesday am 07:00-08:00 Wednesday am 07:00-08:00 pm 17:30-18:30 Thursday am 07:00-08:00 pm 17:30-19:00 Saturday 08:00-09:30 Plus potential additional hours to cover other members of the team in terms of leave, as well as accompanying our client to appointments etc. Our client produces their rota six weeks ahead, so you will be informed, when you are required for additional hours NB Due to the intimate nature of some aspects of this role, this position, under the Equality ACT 2010, is subject to an Occupational Needs Exemption, so that only Females should apply.
