The Role
If successful, you will join a 2-form entry school on a part-time basis (Thursdays and Fridays).
The Head Teacher is looking for an experienced teacher who is creative and encourages curiosity and critical thinking. The ideal candidate will have extensive knowledge of the KS2 curriculum and be able to work collaboratively with another Class Teacher.
There are a few SEN children within the classroom, so you will be responsible for differentiating lessons to ensure all children can access their learning and develop at their own pace.
You will be expected to:
* Differentiate and adapt lessons to meet the needs of all children.
* Communicate effectively with other Class Teachers.
* Work closely with the class Teaching Assistant to support SEND children.
* Have a strong understanding of the KS2 curriculum.
* Assess children’s progress and develop future lessons accordingly.
* Address learning gaps by challenging and encouraging development.
