Our client is a highly regarded, mid-size consulting firm, with deep expertise across Risk & Data within financial services. As part of their continued expansion, they are looking to hire a Technical Director for a senior role within their Data Governance practice.
For this role they are looking for a director-level candidate with experience in delivering large-scale data governance programmes within a banking environment. Exposure to Data Lineage, or Data Quality is also expected. This person will need to have solid knowledge around BCBS 239, and the data elements of regulatory change programmes.
Whilst this is a senior leadership role, and not technically “hands-on”, they would like someone with a good level of technical knowledge, or someone who has been technical in the past. They require someone who really understands in detail the end-to-end technical process of how to execute Data Governance projects within a banking environment. This would likely include experience with technologies such as SQL and Python/SAS/R, as well as tools such as Collibra, IGC etc.
This person will ideally have a mixture of both consultancy and industry experience, and be comfortable using their expertise and networks to help grow the practice further.
