You have at least three years of experience in managing child protection enquiries and are adept at chairing and facilitating meetings for children's care plans. You excel in communication and organizational skills, and have a solid understanding of performance management and practice improvement within a service-focused environment. What the Job Involves This role sits within the Duty service team, where you will support the team manager in the operational management of a duty team. You'll be responding to safeguarding children and children in need, receiving referrals from the MASH, and undertaking children and family assessments. Your responsibilities include identifying levels of need, support plans for children and families, mentoring and supporting staff, managing complex casework, and chairing meetings like strategy meetings. You will help manage performance and collaborate with partners to improve practice within the service. This is a hybrid role involving office presence during duty weeks and two days per week on non-duty weeks.
