About us
At Technip Energies, we believe in a better tomorrow and we believe we can make tomorrow better. With approximately 15,000 talented women and men, we are a global and leading engineering and technology company, with a clear vision to accelerate the energy transition. Designing and delivering added value energy solutions is what we do.
Genesis Energies is a global business unit of Technip Energies, providing impartial, high-value advisory services for the energy industry. We are a leading provider of decommissioning services with over 25 years of experience and more than 200 completed studies across the energy sector.
We provide our clients with comprehensive support, including environmental, safety, cost, and technical evaluations, such as structural, subsea, and marine engineering.
With a strong focus on efficiency, safety, and environmental responsibility, we deliver tailored solutions to meet the unique challenges of our clients’ projects.
As demand for our decommissioning services grows, Genesis continues to expand its expertise to support our clients in achieving their decommissioning goals and navigating the energy transition.
If you have experience in subsea, structural, or environmental disciplines, and/or have been involved in the compilation of Decommissioning Programmes, Comparative Assessments (pipeline/derogation), and their supporting studies, we want to hear from you. Additionally, if you believe your skill set is transferable to this field, we encourage you to get in touch.
Genesis is considering both permanent and contract positions, across a broad range of experience levels, as we broaden our capability and expertise in decommissioning services.
* We are seeking both established and upcoming Decommissioning Study Managers / Project Engineers to join our specialist team, supporting the multi-discipline delivery of decommissioning projects.
* You will play a key role in adding value to early-phase project decision-making for our clients. You will work in an integrated, collaborative manner to optimise efficiency, simplify interfaces, and reduce management burden.
* Responsibilities include delivering Comparative Assessments, defining decommissioning philosophies, supporting mature asset decommissioning, producing Decommissioning Programmes, and interfacing with clients, regulators, and stakeholders.
* The Genesis Environmental Team has around 40 persons in the UK. Due to increasing requests for support in delivering Environmental Impact Assessments for offshore projects, we are looking to recruit someone with a keen interest in applying EIA to offshore project assessments.
* You will work as part of the highly skilled Environmental & ESG Team, supporting a wide range of clients on varied projects related to the energy industry.
* Responsibilities include leading and executing environmental studies related to offshore developments and decommissioning projects (including Survey Scoping, Comparative Assessments, Best Available Techniques, and Stakeholder Management).
Subsea
* We are seeking a Subsea Decommissioning Engineer specializing in the safe and efficient removal of subsea infrastructure, with a strong background in subsea engineering, decommissioning experience, and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
* You will support the planning and execution of decommissioning projects, including pipeline and subsea structure removal technical assessments, delivery of Comparative Assessment supporting studies (pipeline status & historic reviews, Materials Inventories), and preparation of subsea Engineering Down and Cleaning Scope of Works.
* You will work with multi-discipline teams to develop decommissioning strategies, conduct risk assessments, and ensure regulatory compliance.
It is essential that applicants have the right to work in the UK.
