As our clinic in Lisburn, Northern Ireland ) grows we are looking for a part time physiotherapist to join our team on an employed basis. Hours are flexible but will start around 4-8 hours/ week. If case load increases, hours can also increase.
* New graduates and masters students welcome and will be well supported by our clinic team.
* Physiotherapists with 3 years+ experience also welcome and will find excellent support and CPD opportunities.
* We offer a competitive pro-rata salary with a progressive pay scale depending on experience. Employed wages currently range from £25,000 - £46,000 in clinic.

WHAT CAN WE OFFER AS A CLINIC?
* Our clinic has been established for more than 25 years and has a wealth of over 50 years of combined clinic experience between our current physiotherapists.
* Hours are flexible to suit your needs/ family life/ sporting commitments; we can offer evening or day time shifts. No weekend working (we value your life/ work balance).
* We are a family clinic so you will see general population/ MSK type caseload including some sporting injuries. Your case load could also include any musculoskeletal injury from any level of sports person or the general public. We have a well equipped rehabilitation gym within clinic, which forms a key part of our rehabilitation process.
JOB DESCRIPTION
* Undertake the comprehensive assessment and accurate physiotherapy diagnosis of patients using investigative, palpatory, analytical and clinical reasoning skills.
* Formulate individual physiotherapy treatment programmes undertake physical treatments using appropriate manual therapy techniques, equipment and rehabilitation exercises.
* Ensure accurate, comprehensive and up to date clinical records are maintained.
* Ensure all patients are followed up/contacted until finally discharged from the clinic's care.
* Undertake the measurement and evaluation of own work through audit, outcome measurement, the application of evidence based practice and research where appropriate.
* Formulate appropriate Pilates programmes that take into account class ability and class variation
ESSENTIAL CRITERIA
* Degree level qualification in Physiotherapy (BSc/ Pre-reg masters)
* Registered with the Health and Care Professionals Council (HCPC) and the Chartered Society of Physiotherapy (CSP) (or be willing to be registered before starting).
* Be willing to undergo an Enhanced Access NI check
* Keen interest in Musculoskeletal Physiotherapy including the assessment and treatment of all conditions in all age groups (17years olds+) in the general public and in all levels of sporting ability
* Further interest in spinal pain and sporting injuries
* An excellent communicator and an ability to use manual therapy alongside an exercise rehabilitation approach
* Experienced in assessing and treating a wide range of musculoskeletal conditions (recent graduates will be considered if motivated and have evidence of relevant experience)
* We are NOT able to sponsor a UK skilled work Visa
DESIRABLE CRITERIA
* Willingness to undertake Pilates Qualification and deliver Pilates Classes
