Job Title: Multi Skilled Maintenance Engineer
Location: York Area, North Yorkshire
Shift Pattern: Days (Monday to Thursday)
Salary: £19.70/hour
Reporting to: Planned Maintenance Manager
Nicholas Associates has an excellent opportunity for a Multi Skilled Maintenance Engineer, to join an established client in the York area. You will be responsible for working on reactive & planned maintenance, to all equipment on site.
Main responsibilities include:
Perform Statutory and Preventative Maintenance on Plant and Equipment.
Responding to plant breakdowns
Diagnose faults on plant and equipment.
Carry out Plant Repairs, rebuilds as required
Manufacture replacement parts as / if required - lathe / milling experience preferred
Assist in plant and equipment installation in line with design specifications.
Use portable plant and power tools correctly.
Welding / Fabrication
Flexibility to work overtime if needed
A good level of IT literacy to support the documentation side of the role using the company CMMS system.
Proven experience in a similar role as a Maintenance Fitter / Maintenance Technician
Level 3 NVQ Mechanical Engineering or similar, is preferable.
Undertake additional training as required.
Excellent time-management and organisational skills.
Follow company safety systems and work protocol
Experience with CAD / Solidworks, is advantageous
Experience in Automation / Robots, is advantageous
Electrically Competent - 18th Edition, is advantageousAbout Us
