Your role
1. Support high-quality food service operations, maintaining hygiene and safety standards
2. Assist in supervising kitchen colleagues and ensuring culinary excellence
3. Manage inventory, orders and budgets in line with organisational policies
4. Contribute to seasonal menu planning, including special dietary needs
5. Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and internal procedures
6. Engage with residents to gather feedback and enhance dining satisfaction
7. Collaborate on special events and private dining experiences
8. Provide kitchen leadership in the absence of the Head Chef
Your skills
9. Experience cooking for large groups in high-end environments
10. Proven ability to manage deadlines, workloads and supervise teams
11. Familiarity with online stock systems and budget monitoring
12. Strong communication and interpersonal skills
13. Good understanding of written and spoken English
14. Calm and controlled response to emergencies, prioritising resident safety
