We are working closely alongside with a local authority in Enfield t o assist with the appointment of a Senior Parent Support Advisor on a 2 -months contract, highly likely to be extended at clients discretion. Rate of Pay : £20.28 - £25 .60 per hour Summary: The Senior Parent Support Advisor (SPSA) provides holistic assessments for families and coordinates single or multi-agency support packages. The primary goal is to empower families to tackle challenging behaviors and improve relationships, with a specific focus on increasing educational attendance and attainment while reducing school exclusions. The SPSA works with families who do not meet the thresholds for specialist services, providing early help to secure positive long-term pathways. Responsibilities: Carry a complex caseload of 10–14 families, acting as the Lead Professional to coordinate multi-agency support. Undertake whole-family assessments using the Early Help Framework and tools like the "Family Star" to identify needs and develop timely action plans Follow strict Child Protection and Safeguarding procedures, attending case conferences and Court as required Work alongside social workers to "step down" cases to the Parent Support Service and collaborate with schools to embed early help processes. Maintain accurate, detailed case files and decision-making records within relevant IT systems Qualifications: NVQ Level 3 or an equivalent qualification. Essentials: Minimum of 2 years of experience working directly with children, young people, and families in their homes or community settings Proven ability to work with families experiencing multiple and complex needs, including the ability to draw up intervention strategies. Experience participating in multi-agency professional meetings such as Safeguarding panels or Team Around the Family (TAF).
