About the role:
This role ensures the safe and efficient throughput of traffic within the various sortation areas of the operation, in accordance with work area requirements. You need a strong work ethic and attention to detail. It’s a physical role in a busy warehouse hub, requiring constant activity throughout your shift. Your focus on detail will ensure parcels reach customers on time.
Key Role Responsibilities:
* Management & reconciliation of warehouse operations (deliveries, Holdbay, etc.)
* Efficient management of bulk/return deliveries with C&D and LGV fleet
* Support bulk collection customer planning
* Support LGV transport rules & regulations
* Assist the Site/Operations Manager as needed
* Deploy operational resources effectively according to work area needs
* Achieve or exceed KPI targets
* Manage agency workers, ensuring statutory compliance
* Maintain daily communication between shifts for accurate handovers
The ideal candidate will have:
* At least 1 year of experience in a supervisory or similar role
* Knowledge of resource management and deployment
* Excellent communication skills for operational information exchange
* Good IT skills
