Overview
Are you an experienced maintenance engineer looking for a new opportunity in a dynamic working environment? You will join a team of skilled engineers to ensure manufacturing, people, processes & equipment receive the highest level of support. Reporting to a Manufacturing Engineering Cell Manager, you will play a key role in supporting night shift manufacturing teams with firsthand engineering support.
Responsibilities
* Deliver planned preventive maintenance (PPM) programs and respond to breakdowns, repairs and work requests.
* Be heavily involved in large projects to ensure continued manufacturing of high-quality products.
* Provide maintenance support on equipment including injection moulding machines, CNC machines and conveyor systems.
* Problem-solve issues with manufacturing equipment or infrastructure and apply hands-on hydraulic and pneumatic system knowledge.
* Perform and deliver PPM programs in a manufacturing environment and work with 3rd party contractors.
Qualifications
* Experience in a manufacturing environment delivering maintenance support on relevant equipment (injection moulding, CNC, conveyors).
* Demonstrated ability to problem solve issues with manufacturing equipment or infrastructure.
* Hands-on hydraulic and pneumatic systems knowledge.
* Minimum qualification: 18th Edition BS7671. Ideally, inspection & test certification 2391.
* Knowledge and understanding of Health & Safety fundamentals relating to a manufacturing environment.

Schedule
