About The Role
We are expanding our team and looking to hire a Team Leader to join us, working on our Developer Services Framework in the Severn Trent Water Region. This is an exciting opportunity to join an established team as we build upon over 10 years of success in delivering this workstream.
As a Team Leader, you will play a leading role in a team of 2 or more operatives, delivering excellent service to our customers. You will ensure compliance with all health and safety processes and maintain quality of delivery. You will develop your team, ensuring they have the necessary skills for all aspects of clean water installations, from 25mm to 500mm. You will be responsible for planning daily schedules, ensuring compliance, quality, team wellbeing, and accurate communication of all job data.
This is a site-based role involving weekend work and participation in callout/standby rotas.
What Will Your Day Look Like
* Leading a team to support and deliver programmed works, meeting deadlines and KPIs.
* Developing team techniques and skills for clean water operations to foster growth and confidence, preparing them for future leadership roles.
* Ensuring site health and safety protocols are followed at all times.
* Supporting risk management to ensure safety for all team members.
* Collaborating with management to ensure adequate resources for high-quality delivery.
* Proactively engaging with customers to prevent dissatisfaction.
* Providing feedback for continuous improvement.
* Supporting the adoption of new technologies and methods.
* Completing paperwork and system updates accurately and promptly.
About You
* Full valid UK driving license
* NRSWA operative level
* Medium Risk Confined Space Training
* Emergency First Aid
* Cable Avoidance (CAT) EUSR CAT 1
* Safe Digging Techniques EUSR CAT 2
* EUSR Water Hygiene
* Upto 10t Excavator Qualification (preferable)
* Upto 10t Dumper Qualification
* Electrofusion Jointing - ControlPoinr/Ovarro Bluebox Qualification
* NCO(Water) Level 1 (preferable)
* Deep Excavation/Trench Support Qualification (preferable)
* Line stopping knowledge/experience
* Under pressure drilling experience/training
* Banksman and Slingsman
