I am currently recruiting on behalf of a Luxury Automotive OEM based in Gaydon who are seeking a Computational Fluid Dynamics Engineer to join their team on a rolling contract basis working 40 hours per week
Job Description
* The Thermal CFD team provides specialized skills in fluid dynamics through computer modelling techniques.
* This covers full vehicle thermal analysis to ensure the components and systems are robust to their thermal environment.
* Supporting the Lead Engineers to managing their projects / processes, working independently with limited supervision.
Essential Skills Required
* An excellent understanding of thermal CFD analysis and thermal processes ideally using StarCCM+.
* Excellent report writing and communication skills.
* The ability to lead technical issue resolution with the support of the test team, CAE teams, Technical Specialists and any external parties.
* Desirable Skills Required: Climatic Wind Tunnels and Hot Environment Testing
* Whole vehicle thermal validation.
Education
* Degree level in a technical subject
