Clark Door are looking to appoint an Electro-Mechanical Engineering Fitter Apprentice to join their growing team in September. This apprenticeship is designed for individuals aiming to develop a comprehensive skill set in both electrical and mechanical engineering disciplines. This role offers a balance of practical, on-the-job experience with structured off-the-job training delivered by a recognised training provider. The chosen apprentice with work alongside skilled professionals, gaining the experience and technical knowledge required to become competent electro-mechanical fitters. Key Responsibilities Interpret and follow engineering drawings, diagrams and specifications for required components or assemblies. Plan work activities, including identifying resources, equipment and tooling requirements. Produce individual components such as keys. pipework, threading, wiring looms, interfacing parts, motors and wiring cables. Re-furbish components as needed. Perform quality checks and adjustments on components or assemblies against required specifications, including testing and calibrating. Identify and resolve problems with components or assemblies through fault diagnosis. Comply with all safety, quality and environmental procedures. Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors. Attend off-the-job training sessions and complete coursework and assessments as required.
