We're Hiring: Installation / Operations Manager – Heat Pump Systems North EastAbout UsOur client are leading the charge toward a sustainable future by designing and installing high-efficiency air source and ground source heat pump systems. As demand grows rapidly for low-carbon heating solutions, we’re looking for a skilled and driven Installation / Operations Manager to lead our installation teams and ensure seamless project delivery.The RoleAs our Installation / Operations Manager, you’ll oversee the planning, coordination, and execution of heat pump installations—from survey through to commissioning. You’ll manage engineers and subcontractors, ensure compliance with industry standards, and deliver outstanding customer service.Key Responsibilities * Manage day-to-day operations of installation projects across domestic and/or commercial sites * Coordinate and schedule installation teams and subcontractors * Ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to high quality standards * Conduct site visits and technical surveys when required * Maintain compliance with MCS, RECC, and other relevant standards * Troubleshoot on-site issues and provide technical support to engineers * Liaise with customers, suppliers, and internal teams to keep projects running smoothly * Monitor stock levels and order materials as required * Drive continuous improvement and operational efficiencyWhat We’re Looking ForProven experience in heat pump installations or similar HVAC/renewable energy systemsStrong project management and leadership skillsTechnical understanding of air source and/or ground source heat pumpsFamiliarity with MCS standards and health & safety regulationsExcellent communication and problem-solving abilitiesFull UK driving licenceRelevant trade qualifications (F-Gas, NVQ, etc.) a plusWhat We Offer * £45K - £50K * Company vehicle and fuel card * Pension scheme * 25 days annual leave + bank holidays * Opportunity to shape and grow with a rapidly expanding business * Training and career development in the renewable energy sector
