Olivia cannot make hiring decisions (those are made by human recruiters), but she helps ensure your recruitment journey stays smooth and accessible anytime you need.
Before we can employ you, we are required to verify your eligibility to work in the UK & Ireland. Acceptable documents to evidence your right to work can be found here. You’ll need to provide original documents such as a valid passport or a valid UK/Ireland visa (with a college letter listing term dates, where applicable). Only original documents will be accepted.
What type of questions do you ask at an interview?
The interview is an absolutely vital part of our hiring process. Without it, we wouldn’t get a proper picture of what kind of person you are and whether you’d be a great fit at McDonald’s. The interview will normally involve questions around values and attitudes and will allow you to show us why you’re the right person for the job. We might ask for an example of times you’ve worked as part of a team and how you made a difference. We hire for qualities and potential, rather than qualifications.
Prospects at McDonald’s
Our employees tend to stick around. There are opportunities to progress into roles with more responsibility. For example, many managers started as crew members behind the counter or in the kitchens. We offer award-winning learning, nationally-recognised qualifications, comprehensive benefits and flexible working arrangements, as well as a well-proven career path.
