Our expertise covers a wide range of areas including leadership, psychometrics, assessment and selection, decision‑making, identity, well‑being at work and cognitive neuroscience. All candidates should hold a doctoral degree (or be close to obtaining one), demonstrate experience of published research outputs at CABS 4*/3* or equivalent levels, and experience of teaching relevant modules to a high standard within a business school or psychology school context. Candidates should also ideally demonstrate a growing research network and pipeline of research. While we are open to research areas, alignment with the strategic research themes of the University of Surrey will be desirable.
We especially welcome candidates with an applied and academic perspective on their work. Evidence and experience of practitioner work (e.g. consulting or executive education), or industry / external organisational projects and collaborations, are an advantage.
Diversity is core to our values and we encourage applications from diverse backgrounds.
Informal enquires should be directed in the first instance to Prof Stephen A. Woods (s.a.woods@surrey.ac.uk), Head of Discipline for Management, Surrey Business School.
