Customer Delivery Driver - Redruth Extra
Tesco is hiring a Customer Delivery Driver. This role involves more than driving; you will deliver Tesco orders to customers and provide great service with a smile.

Responsibilities
* Delivering your part of our customer shopping trip by ensuring the van and trays are clean, tidy, and organised.
* Leaving the customer area clean, tidy and free of rubbish, and picking up litter as needed.
* Washing trays as part of the tray wash process and loading the van as required, including checking roadworthiness.
* Speaking to customers about changes to their order (short code items and substitutions) and offering refunds where appropriate.
* Taking care of products/deliveries as if they were your own.
* Explaining substitutions to customers and ensuring they are not charged more than agreed.
* Delivering within the customer time slot and calling the customer if you are early; contacting the store if running late.
You will need
* A valid UK/EU/EEA Driving licence (Full or Automatic only) for at least 12 months with no more than 3 penalty points.
* Build relationships with colleagues to create team spirit and ensure excellent customer service.
* Warm and welcoming interactions with customers and colleagues; ability to understand customer needs and show appreciation.
* Ability to respond quickly to changing customer needs and adapt to store changes.
* Energetic and driven to deliver beyond expectations; manage work-life balance effectively.
* Share ideas with management and colleagues on how to improve the store for customers.
Availability and pay
* Pay starts from £13.35 per hour, rising to £14.56 per hour for stores inside the M25. Additional payments may apply depending on location.
* Minimum guaranteed hours: 16 per week (can work a minimum of 12 hours if preferred).
* Availability windows are published; contracted hours will be scheduled within these times, with 3 weeks’ notice of shifts. Flexible working options are supported.
