Digital Marketing Manager

Full time, Norwich

Aquaterra Energy is a global leader in the delivery of intelligently engineered products and services for well access and offshore developments for offshore energy projects. Founded in 2005 and headquartered in Norwich, we have additional offices in Europe, Africa, Middle East, Asia and Australia.

We’re expanding our marketing team and are seeking an experienced B2B Digital Marketing Manager to deliver lead-generation and brand-building activity that supports our commercial goals.

This role is ideal for someone who can balance strategic thinking with hands-on execution in a fast-paced environment. You will lead the development and delivery of integrated digital campaigns that generate qualified opportunities and raise awareness of our products and services. Working closely with our technical and business development teams, you’ll create high-quality digital content and contribute to wider initiatives that strengthen our market position.

Key responsibilities:

Campaign Strategy & Execution: Develop, launch, and manage integrated demand generation campaigns across digital channels (LinkedIn, email, website, paid media, webinars, etc.) to attract and convert target audiences.

Content Creation: Produce compelling lead generation assets, including lead magnets, landing pages, emails, social assets and other content as needed to support campaign objectives.

Website Management: Oversee website updates, performance improvements, and user experience enhancements, coordinating with our digital agency for technical implementation where required.

SEO & SEM Support: Work with our digital agency to manage and improve both organic (SEO) and paid search (SEM) performance. Support keyword strategy, oversee paid search activity, review campaign reporting, and ensure recommendations are implemented and aligned with wider campaign goals.

Agency Management: Manage day-to-day relationships with our digital agency, ensuring delivery of agreed outputs, reporting, and performance metrics.

Lead Nurturing: Design and implement nurture workflows to move prospects through the funnel, using marketing automation and CRM tools to move prospects through the funnel and enhance lead quality.

Analytics & Optimisation: Track, analyse and report on campaign performance (conversion rates, pipeline impact, ROI). Use insights to continually optimise tactics and messaging.

MarTech & Tools: Evaluate, recommend, and implement digital marketing tools and technologies that enhance campaign performance, automation and reporting.

Collaboration: Work closely with sales and technical teams to align messaging, share insights and maximise campaign effectiveness.

Market Research: Identify and segment target audiences, develop buyer personas and stay up to date with industry trends and competitor activity to inform campaigns and positioning.

Skills & Qualifications:

Degree (or equivalent) in Marketing, Business, Communications, or related field.

5+ years’ experience in B2B demand generation, digital marketing, or lead generation roles.

Experience working with or managing digital/SEO agencies or external marketing partners.

Strong content creation skills, including copywriting and basic visual design capability; ability to collaborate effectively with graphic designers.

Proficiency using WordPress to manage and update website content.

Proficiency with marketing automation, CRM platforms, and digital marketing tools.

Ability to assess marketing needs and recommend or introduce new tools and technologies to improve performance and efficiency.

Familiarity with AI-driven marketing tools and the ability to use AI to enhance content creation, automation, and campaign optimisation

Analytical mindset with experience using digital analytics tools (Google Analytics, Search Console, Power BI, etc.).

Excellent communication, project management, and organisational skills. Ability to collaborate effectively with technical subject matter experts and translate technical information into engaging digital content.
