The Difference you will make:
As Head of Content & Media Development you will play an important role within Bauer Academy’s delivery team. Focused on subject areas that are integral to Bauer Academy’s portfolio and aligned with Bauer Media’s passions and expertise. This role leads a talented team of educators that carefully design and deliver impactful learning solutions, including apprenticeships.
Your role:
* Design and deliver workshops across Bauer Academy’s content and media provision.
* Line manage a small delivery team, including regular 1:1s, weekly check-ins, performance & development discussions.
* Create engaging content for Bauer Academy’s learning management system.
* Support Bauer Academy’s cocreation services by creating multimedia content that enhances what we offer clients.
* Day-to-day coordination of activities and programmes.
* Oversee the delivery of relevant apprenticeships, following established Bauer Academy processes and KPIs.
* As a Programme Lead, manage end to end apprenticeship cohorts.
* Maintain accurate records, reports and data as required for each project / programme.
* Thought leadership on industry trends and innovative teaching practices specifically for this creative subject area.
The Skills you will bring:
* A Level 5 or higher qualification in Education.
* Previous experience in content creation and media production subject areas.
* Experience acting as a presenter or facilitator.
* Able to deliver high-quality training virtually and face-to-face.
* Confident in liaising with line managers, clients, and learners.
* Project management skills.
* Strong I.T. literacy – comfortable learning and using new platforms.
Working Pattern/Location:
This a Hybrid role that supports a balance of working from home and one of our offices in either Manchester, London or Peterborough. It is 37.5 hours per week, with a flexible approach to working hours and locations. Occasional travel will be expected, for example to employer premises to deliver workshops or for client meetings. Out-of-hours working may be required, particularly during audits and inspections.
