Position Details
* Base Location: Coventry
* Hours: 28 hours per week (4 days)
* Salary: Up to £34,507 FTE (£43,134.00)
* Office Location: Long Eaton
* Caseload Area: Midlands and South Yorkshire (within a 1-hour drive, with occasional flexibility)

Your Role
As a Supervising Social Worker, you will play a crucial role in supporting foster parents and ensuring high standards of care. Your responsibilities will include:
* Providing direct support and supervision to foster parents within a manageable caseload.
* Conducting regular supervision sessions to monitor practice and compliance with regulatory standards.
* Collaborating with children, young people, foster parents, and other professionals to facilitate participation in assessments and decision-making.
What We’re Looking For
We are seeking a qualified and experienced Social Worker who is:
* Enthusiastic and committed to the role of foster parents.
* Experienced in working collaboratively with foster parents and within a multi-disciplinary environment.
* Knowledgeable about relevant legislation and publications in children's services.
* A confident driver with a full driving license and access to your own car.
* Skilled in report writing and able to meet strict deadlines.
Working Conditions
This is a demanding yet rewarding position that requires flexibility in working patterns and travel. You will be expected to complete an enhanced DBS Check, which will be covered by Fosterplus.
